Christopher M. Jahnke began his legal career writing appellate briefs as a law clerk in Syracuse, New York. Since that time, Christopher has aspired to use his legal skills to help people. After years of developing a successful career in private practice, Christopher opened the Law Offices of Christopher M. Jahnke to pursue his dreams. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Jahnke became a partner in Jahnke & Toolis LLC.
Christopher enjoys fighting for the rights of others. He has drafted criminal appellate briefs that were ultimately filed in State and Federal Courts, including a Writ of Certiorari to The United States Supreme Court, in order to try and help those abused by the system. Christopher also uses his knowledge of insurance and corporate claims handling to assist injured consumers. As a former defense attorney, Christopher represented corporations and insurance companies in disputes over contracts, discrimination claims, creditor claims, malpractice, negligence, property damage, nursing home abuse, and automobile negligence. This experience was invaluable, as he learned first hand how insurance companies and businesses operate. Christopher uses this knowledge to assist clients in obtaining the compensation they deserve.
As a musician, Christopher has been writing and performing for almost twenty years. He has been in the studio and worked with multi-platinum artists and producers, performed on the main stage at the Florida Music Festival, and had multiple songs air on Orlando popular radio. His knowledge and experience in copyrights, corporate formation, contract drafting, and negotiation allow him to meet the needs of artists and entertainment companies.
As a student at Syracuse University, Chris was a team leader of a fellowship project aimed at providing both legal and business advice to the Commissioner of Hancock International Airport. Christopher also worked as a research consultant in the Technology Transfer Research Center, which provided intellectual property consulting services to inventors and small business owners. Chris was the 2001 National Tax Moot Court Oral Argument Champion, which is a competition sponsored by the Florida Bar Association.
